premises liabilty

Premises liability law generally refers to injuries occurring on someone else's property because the property owner was negligent or created an unsafe condition. Landowners are required to protect those who lawfully enter on the land or property from reasonable injuries. These landowners include business owners and homeowners and cases can include falls, fires, inadequate security, and other types of personal injury. Our firm represents individuals who have been seriously injured on someone else's property.
Trials/Settlements in Premises Liability Cases:

Nelson v. Kan: A $1.26 million dollar settlement for family with burn injuries to children and death of a child from an apartment fire with faulty wiring.

Nolan v. Hodgdon: A "policy limits" settlement for $300,000 for a teenager that was sleeping in a hay loft and fell out and was permanently injured due to the improperly constructed loft.

Kennedy v. Jekyl & Hyde's: A $250,000 settlement for a dancer whose skull was fractured when a pole from the ceiling fell while another dancer was using it.
